We can look back proudly on the construction of our
new factory. Our enthusiastic partners and the people
involved helped make its realisation within an
extremely short period of time possible.
When we made a start on the building, we immediately compiled a construction
team. This team made an important contribution to the ultimate
success. At least one person from each of our partners was on this team
of specialists, so all disciplines in the project were represented.
The members of the construction team had to be in the position of being
able and permitted to make decisions.
Each Monday morning they had consultation meetings, in which
they discussed important aspects infl uencing progress.
These were either issues of direct importance or those that
would crop up later in the process. Agreements were set out
precisely so that everyone knew where they stood. If one of the
partners executed work that was not in accordance with the
agreements, then they had to justify this in the following consultation
meeting. The big advantage was that all those involved
were well aware of other people’s work and any problems.
More than once, the construction team spotted possible
problems at an early stage. Mutual brainstorming often rapidly
resolved these. We maintained this consultation right up until
the end, in various combinations, either because a number of
partners’ work had already been completed or because a new
partner joined us.
A word of thanks
We can look back proudly on the construction of our new
factory. Our enthusiastic partners and the people involved
helped make its realisation within an extremely short period of
time possible. To avoid leaving out any of our partners, we will
not mention any names here, but our heartfelt thanks goes to
everyone who was part of the project at any level. Without you,
it would not have been possible to realise this unique project!
