Siemens PLM Software: Focus on innovation This is a missed opportunity in a time in which progress has never been more important. Siemens PLM Software understands 20 this and makes data, processes and operational systems for the manufacturing industry more accessible to users. It does this by placing all the elements of the production process in a central, virtual system. The operational objective is already inherent in the name PLM, which stands for Product Lifecycle Management. The virtual environment gives employees access to models, stat-istics, component information, instructions for fabricating products, and product requirements. They can also add related notes. And users receive the right information at the right time and in the correct context during product development.
